How to Build a Mini Catapult

  1. On your table, start arranging 3 chopsticks laid flat creating a triangular shape. The ends must overlap each other. With the use of elastic bands, go on securing the ends.
  2. A pyramid which is freestanding can now be created. You just simply need to attach the 3 remaining sticks to its original triangle. To secure together your sticks on hand, elastic bands should be used. As much as possible, try keeping the stick’s ends which are thinner at the pyramid’s top. The bottoms which are heavier will help in stabilizing the pyramid.
  3. With your plastic cups on hand, create 3 holes in your plastic with the use of the pen. Holes must be spaced evenly exactly under the cup’s rim.
  4. Through each of the holes in the cup that you made, one elastic band must placed and tied. You have to be sure that each of the elastic band is knotted securely.
  5. In order for the triangle to be facing you directly, you need to rotate the pyramid. The cup must be positioned in a way where the opening should be facing you. Each end of the elastic band must be tied to each other. Do this until your cup is completely suspended.
  6. With any ammunition of your choice for loading, fire your catapult. You can do this by pulling back the cup and then letting go. For more support, you have to hold the pyramids back.
